Pahal-Ek-Prayas
Social media/ facebook page has become a powerful tool for selfless volunteers like us. Cantt. board CEO shri Shrivastavavastava ji called us at his office and desired to join us. We planned a spot near cantt board office where CEO sh Rajiv Shrivastava and executive engr shri anuj singh ji themselves have participated in shramdaan. He assured volunteers that he ll ensure tht the spots in the cantt area to be maintained by cantt. board. We had suggested him that few places, round abouts, part of the road can be adopted by nearby organisations for which he atonce agreed and a person atonce adopted a triangle near GTB school in cantt area.
Captains for today were Amit Sharma and Rohit Kumar and painting captain was Geetu sharma. They did perfect planning and ensured proper execution.
Thanks to Harikant Ahluwalia (Mayor- Meerut) Ji for sending the Nagar Nigam van for the help of pahal volunteers every week.
At last, this was a memorable day for all of us. Of course as always written:
