Kotwal Dhan Singh Gurjar, also known as the Indian kotwal (police chief) of Meerut, who participated in the 1857 rebellion and led initial actions against the British East India Company in that city. We cleaned the statue and removed garbage. Pahal volunteers gave this place a good shape. Captains for today were P.K. Singhal ji and Rajeev Aggarwal Ji. They did perfect planning and ensured proper execution. At last this was a memorable day for all of us.
