Pahal-Ek Prayas organization has been making people aware through cleanliness campaign in Meerut city since last 8 years. But on the 75th year of the country, the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence is being celebrated in the entire country, inspired by this initiative, Pahal-Ek Prayas organization launched a cleaning campaign near the Victoria Park wall, Sharma Nagar, in continuation we made the National Flag on the park wall. Along with this, the members of the initiative picked up the garbage and grass that was lying around and with their own hands, other members of the organization explained the importance of cleanliness campaign. The members of “Pahal-Ek Prayas” explained the importance of cleanliness to the people. Pahal Volunteers will have the privilege of sahbhoj followed by Shramdaan activity. We are against discrimination based on caste creed and colour. We do sahbhoj once a month in which we ask our volunteers to bring vegetarian food (fixed menu) from their kitchens and eat together sharing each other’s food sitting on the ground. Today our MP Shri Rajendra Agarwal ji, MLA Shri Somendar Tomar Ji, MLA Amit Agarwal Ji, Shri Vinod Bharti ji and Dr. Umang Arora, Dr. Sandeep Garg, Dr. Ashu Mittal etc. joined this campaign also did shramdaan with us to boost the morale of pahal volunteers and encouraged the volunteers. Many new volunteers participated in shramdaan today. Today’s campaign was captained by Geetu Sharma, Rakesh Tomar and Prince Raj . They did perfect planning and ensured proper execution. The campaign ended with the national anthem. At last this was a memorable day for all of us.
