Pahal-Ek Prayas organization has been making people aware through cleanliness campaign in Meerut city since last 8 years. But on the 75th year of the country, the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence is being celebrated in the entire country, inspired by this initiative, Pahal-Ek Prayas organization launched a cleaning campaign near the Victoria Park wall, Sharma Nagar, cleaned the walls of the park and painted the walls. Along with this, the members of the initiative picked up the garbage and grass that was lying around and with their own hands, other members of the organization explained the importance of cleanliness campaign to the local residents and also made them aware not to use polythene. On the Amrit Mahotsav of independence, requested all the people to put the national flag on their homes. The members of “Pehle-Ek Prayas” explained the importance of cleanliness to the people and said that if people throw garbage in the dustbins installed by the municipal corporation instead of throwing it on the road, then the dream of Swachh Bharat will be more in realization. It will not take days, every citizen of the country starts to understand his responsibilities towards the country, then with a clean mission, India can soon become the most developed and prosperous nation in the world, cleaning is not the job of any particular caste but every citizen of the city. Today the enlightened doctors of National Medicos Organization Meerut, Dr. Veerottam Tomar, Dr. Rishi Bhatia, Dr. Vishwajeet Bembi, Dr. Gyaneshwar Tonk, Dr. Umang Arora etc. joined this campaign. Today’s campaign was captained by Geetu Sharma, Shabahat Ansari, Prashant Sagar . They did perfect planning and ensured proper execution. The campaign ended with the national anthem.
